Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here, but I have a feeling it's freezing out there. One of the coffee ladies posted there was a flurry of snow earlier, no sign of it now and keeping fingers tightly crossed it stays away this weekend.

Hope the tablets work soon Saundra xx

44 years for us tomorrow Lissia, E's family all said it wouldn't last, well look who's having the last laugh

I hate rats too, our neighbour two doors up said she saw one in her back garden a while back. We haven't seen any, but we all know they're everywhere, gives me the creeps.

Weekly shop for us, Thursday's seem to come round so quickly these days. Quiz tonight.

Have a good day :D

Morning all

Jo, definitely sensible to be cautious.
Saundra, I really hope you feel better soon; it's been a rotten few months for you ((hug)) :(
A special day for you both tomorrow Lissie and Jen - :D

Nippy this morning and a few little snowflakes doing their thing here in London

Usual / usual for me

Thoughts with Ally and family x

Hope everyone else had a good day doing all the bits and bobs you're doing x

Good afternoon all.

It's a lovely morning here. Plenty of blue sky and sunshine, but you do need to wrap up warm,
as it's very cold, and I was glad to get back home'

Hope you are all O.K.

They're horrible things. We had them in our old house, our elderly next door neighbours had gaps around the house so they got in that way and lived under the ground floor floorboards. No matter what we did to try and rid ourselves of them, they kept coming because of the gaps they could get into from next door. I'll never ever forget the day I opened the understairs cupboard to get the hoover out and found one staring back at me. To say I screamed and swore would be an understatement.

I bet you did! I've had a poke around the back garden and found a hole that goes under the barge board and into next door's garden. It looks like they might be setting up a nest under a large bush in there. I've filled the hole with gravel and told next door but he didn't seem too bothered. If I had two young children like they have, I certainly would be. Strange thing, we've seen a big black cat in our garden today, the first one I've seen in there for ages.

I hope you have better times soon Saundra and I hope others who aren't too well feel better asap.

You are right Aggers, wrapping up warm when going out is absolutely necessary. It is perishing out there.

Evening everyone, it was bright and sunny but bitterly cold all day. We didn't have the children today as we had swapped with my sister because we had Kellie on Sunday night and all day Monday. I had a list done of things to do today and tomorrow, but have everything ticked off the list :D On Saturday we are going away for a two-night dance break, so I was getting clothes ready for that, plus h/worky stuff too. We've had our dinner settling down for the evening now.

Cousin V's sister has been found dead.
No trauma on body, it sounds like a mixture of intoxication and exposure...no doubt the full story will come out :(

I am so sorry Di. Can I just ask though, if she is your cousins sister, does that not also make her your cousin? Or is there a remarriage in there?

Either way tragic end
