Lovely to have your mum's bible back Saundra :) ((((x))))

Poor old Grumpy, Jan, that sounds sore!

Jo, I ran the Alabama Rot stuff past Becky. She says probably the best thing is just to keep him away from mud and water - as you are doing xx

Saundra, what a lovely thing to have. So glad that your sister in law sent it to you xx

Thanks Kaz, he does actually avoid mud and water as much as he can. I took him out again after lunch as everywhere was pretty much still frozen but there was one bit where he was running full pelt and I could see a patch of mud in his way and he took a huge leap over it and cleared it
Once this cold snap is over though most of the paths will revert back to mud.

Went into Birmingham yesterday afternoon and managed to get everything we needed. We had to walk through the German Market though to get to and from the car as we'd parked just off Broad St. Walk is the wrong word to use though. A very slow shuffle which makes you want to punch all in front of you is more accurate.

Amazon strike again!
All items 'guaranteed' to be delivered today. The two being delivered by Royal Mail have an invalid tracking number (probably because they're not yet in the system) and the delivery has sneakily changed online to anytime between today and the 7th.

Delivery by many companies seems really poor this year Di! I ordered some of Tom's aftershave from the Body Shop two weeks ago with a 3-5 day delivery time. Finally had an email on Friday to say that it'll be delivered by DPD tomorrow. It arrived on Saturday (which is good in one way but may it just have been thrown over the garden wall seeing as we weren't expecting it and he just happened to catch us in?).

Anyway, it's cost them another free month of Prime. They've now covered this month and next due to shoddy deliveries. The tracking number is now working and the parcel is with Royal Mail in Warrington of all places!

Should balance it out though by saying how good New Look were this weekend. Joe ordered a top on Thursday afternoon with free delivery to the Stafford store. It should've been available after 11 on Saturday but I had an email just after 9 to say that it was ready. Picked it up, took it home to Joe and it was huge. We took it back to the New Look Men store in the Bullring yesterday and they swapped it there and then for the small.

Oh blimey Saundra!
I do often wonder about Ebay dispatch times though because some appear to be marked as being sent at really strange times (like 3am for instance) so I wonder if there's an automatic system some sellers use.
