Glad all went well for you, Ally, and I hope your travel plans aren't too disrupted. And you as well, Jo, thinking of tomorrow.

Like Di, we have a full throttle Atlantic gale here at the moment - a gusty, snatch the car door out of your hands gale - and plenty of rain. The advertising fly-boards outside the Co-op are horizontal rather than vertical! But at least it's relatively mild ....

Good morning all, it's just wet here, no snow thank goodness. I hope the worst is over in England by Wednesday when we are going over for the day, don't fancy driving in snow and ice. Ally, I must have missed this - are you travelling back for Friday's funeral?

We have friends coming for Sunday lunch today, roast lamb with trimmings, looking forward to lots of chat and maybe even a little dancing  I started the cards last night, feel quite virtuous

Details are on the other board Osc.

But yes...this weekend was booked months ago as it's a wee Xmas trip we make every year.

We're all flying over on Thursday. xx

Woke again 7.30 and we have got quite heavy snow!!
It was`nt forecast for as far south as us.

Gosh Lissie, you're not far from us and there's no sign of snow here......yet!!! It's wet, overcast and decidedly chilly. Well that's what E tells me and I'll definitely be taking his word for it today

Hope your flight isn't delayed Ally, saw your photo on Fb and the snow looks pretty thick where you are.

No plans for us, intend to stay nice and warm indoors.

Have a good day :)

We had some lovely sunshine earlier, so decided on a morning outside - and then the black clouds came over :x

But we carried on and have now moved all the estrume onto the veggie garden and there was loads left, so we put that on all the flower beds. The wind has really picked up and we both feel cold, despite "glowing", with all that shovelling.

Inside now with a camomile tea :)
