Good morning Tuesday

Postby Diflower » 12 Dec 2017, 08:15

Morning :)
Minus 5 all around here this morning, I'm just glad for a gap in the rain which is due back tonight.

Bb is working locally again, so between appointments we're going into town.
He's going to have his hair cut and buy a couple of things for the boys, I'm going to have a wander, and he might buy me lunch :)

Thinking of Jo and Joe today x
Have a good day all

Morning all :)

Thinking of Jo and Joe today xxxxxxx

Have a nice wander and lunch Di :)

That's an unusual name Saundra :)

Jan we have a massive new Food Warehouse by Iceland here, much bigger than the one in the city centre! Have fun :)

Freezing out there but am getting a lift into town with Mick at10 - he needs to take his work laptop into the Gloucester telephone exchange as they're sending out an engineer to fix a problem with his work laptop. I'll post my parcel, have a quick mooch then walk up to see D for lunch.

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning all

good luck Jo & Joe x

Jan, enjoy the shopping and stocking up
Di, a lovely warming lunch will be perfect on a day like this
Saundra & Kaz, my mom's name is Theodora - it's a really old fashioned name that seems to have made a bit of a come back after Robbie Williams called his daughter that

I really should crack on with a bit of cleaning and tidying but hey ho... it need to head out in a bit to drop off the glasses I hired for my party and then to a framer to pick up a picture I bought as my own birthday present; a lovely red butterfly done by a local artist. And then meeting up with Nadine and her family that's over from SA for that lovely pub lunch. Looking at how the trains are running today, I'm so glad I don't have to go to work - thank goodness for my brother yesterday otherwise it'd have been a very long and very expensive journey home

Have a lovely day eveyone; it really is nippy out there

Good morning all, it's sunny and so very cold and icy here today.

Thank you all so much for thinking about our Joe today xx

Suffice to say that Billy hasn't had a walk. I took him onto the common yesterday morning when me and Joe got back from the hospital and it was lovely; fresh, deep, fluffy snow everywhere and sunshine. We took him again last night and much of the snow had been trodden down, turned into slush and by then was thick ice.

Time to get the hoover out now I think!

Kaz, we've got one of those Food Warehouse stores but I've never been in yet, and it's been open a couple of years! It's on a small out of town retail park though so not possible to get to without a car and we very rarely need to go there.

Lovely news about the baby Saundra, I've heard of quite a few Theodores lately (usually shortened to Theo) but not Theodora.

Have a good day all!

Morning troops. Very cold here today, lots of ice on the roads. I think the gritters must only be doing the main roads, I've not actually seen one out at all.
Shopping in a while, MrsC is making a beef stew (bourgingnon but I'm not sure of the spelling!) so we need garlic and red wine.
That's a nice name Saundra and I hope Bb buys you a nice lunch Di!

Have a good day everyone.
