I was driving to Featherstone Aldi today and coming the other way were three HUGE lorries, each carrying a railway carriage! Dark blue with "Hull Trains" written on them. I would have though railway carriages could have been transported by rail, but what do I know? :?

From what you say I suppose the carriages might have been on their way for a refurb, Saundra.

My son-in-law has a friend from schooldays with the surname Siddall, whose nickname at school was (unsurprisingly) Sid. Sid married a girl from the village called Katie, whose nickname at school for some peculiar reason was also Sid. They have now got a dog, a bad tempered little terrier whom they have called - Sid.

So now we have Mr Sid, Mrs Sid and Bad Sid the dog! :D
