Sending you a huge ((((((hug))))))) Jo. It sounds as though they are taking good care of Jo, and just being careful. You're bound to worry, so I won't tell you not to! It's what mums do :? xxxxxxxx

It is isn't it, no matter how old they (and we!) are.

I've just called again as it's three hours since they initially called to say he was being transferred and two hours since I called for an update and there's still not a bed for him at Stoke so sod the visiting times, we're going over to Stafford to be with him in a minute. At that age they don't know what they should be asking or what should be happening do they.

Exactly Ria!!

Still at Stafford, he actually has the entire ward and all of the medical staff to himself! Still no bed available at Stoke.

Rebels that we are, we're still here nearly an hour after visiting ended :x
He's just waiting to be transferred now, there's a bed been found for him so it's just a matter of waiting for transport.
It's so crazy though, everyone else on the ward has also been transferred over the course of the day - this must happen at the end of every week so why not just have this ward open 7 days?
