Sending lots of love to you and Don, Ally xx

Roast chicken for us too Jan, I'll do it this evening when Tom gets home.

Didn't walk very far after all Crommers, there's still a lot of thick ice around :o

Saundra, if only you were nearer...you'd always be welcome to come to us for some company xx

Kaz, glad you had a good night out!

Morning Di and Lissie!

Morning all, it is dull here but dry and the temperature is showing at 10 degrees so that's an improvement. Just off the phone with an extended family member in England telling me that her 47 year old daughter has been diagnosed with breast cancer  They are meeting with the doctors on Wednesday to see what treatment is planned, but they seem to think it has not spread to the lymph nodes which would be very good news.

I had great fun yesterday (well, maybe fun is not the word ;) ) taking up a glittery skirt I bought recently, I had to take it up five inches! I used Wundaweb and it seems to have worked well. Then it got two coats of hairspray as the glitter was shedding everywhere, so the utility room smelled like a hairdressers  I'm wearing it this afternoon as we are going to a Christmas social dance.

Glad Joe is continuing to improve and safe journey to Don and Ally.

Kaz glad you had a good night out - so did I - it's always fun to catch up with everyone again, we speak lots on the phone but rarely see each other. I was very careful with my wine so like you, I am fine this morning!

So, I woke up after a fitful night, and had an hour on the sofa watching Ep 1 season 1 of The Crown (at last!!) with a sleepy Charlie sharing my space :) Pure bliss. Mind he'd done a sick on the carpet - the second time this week - so I think he was trying to win me round...

No plans for today - Tom's at the farm, three weeks since he was last there, and I think we'll have Chinese tonight - skipped last night's obviously - and watch the Strictly final. I know who won but that doesn't matter, I can still enjoy, and I won't tell Tom so he can try and guess. I haven't done ANY cards this year but have received quite a few, so I think I might write one or two out at some point.

Dull and damp out there today, so I won't be going far - have a good Sunday all xx

Safe journey home Ally, thoughts are with you all xx

Morning all.........well almost

We've had a heavy frost, but it's clearing now.

Safe flight home Ally x

(((Saundra))) xxx

Glad you had a good evening Kaz. Present wrapping for me today too.

Roast dinner for us too, can't stand the packet stuff. My mother used to make her own which was lovely, but I've never been tempted to make it. I always buy the M&S ready to cook stuffing in a tray, our favourite is the pork and leek, yummy :)

Have a good day :)
