A visit from his friend will do him the world of good I'm sure! I bet he's feeling fed up!

Yes, he's not used to being stuck indoors! Hoping the visit from James will cheer him up ;)

John was shown last night how to give the injections for Joe whenever he gets home. I'm not good with anything like that.

Nor me Jo!

Chris is feeling a lot better today, his leg is going down, slowly but surely :)

That's good Kaz xx

I had a dvt in both legs, many years ago. Went to Charing Cross Hospital, and they kept me in for several days. So much has changed, sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

Well he had what was hopefully his last injection tonight! He has a clinic appointment tomorrow, and all being well they will switch him onto tablets for a few months, with weekly blood tests.

What I didn't know, because he only told me today, is that the first GP he saw on Monday sent him away saying there was nothing to worry about! Thank goodness Chris ignored him and got a second opinion at the walk-in clinic, as the doc there sent him straight to A&E! :o
