Morning :)
Raining.

Bb has now finished work till January, so today we aim to do all remaining jobs.
Need to wrap presents for boys and his mum and dad, get the bedding washed, clear the ironing (not much of it).

And he can get all his work stuff sorted out, I can guarantee there will be loads he can throw away

Have a good day all

Good morning Di, Ally and all! It's foggy here again.

John's now finished work until mid-January. We'll walk Billy shortly. Tom has work today and Shannon is driving home this morning. Me, John and Joe are off into Birmingham later. Joe wants to do his Christmas shopping and they'll eat at the German Market, I'll probably just wait and have something when we get home.

Have a good day all!

Good Morning all,
Mild but dark and drizzly here.
Up early to get things ready for family arriving later for dinner.
Will put Prosecco in the fridge but it depends on who is driving if it gets used or not.
If Russ is driving Han will have a glass but if she is driving she will have squash :D
Have a nice day.

Morning all :)

Your day sounds nice and relaxing Ally 8-)

Yours sounds productive Di ;)

Great to hear that Joe's well enough to brave the shopping crowds Jo :) :)

Have a lovely day with your family Lissie :) :)

D and I are braving Sainsbury's this morning *gulp* although BBC Breakfast made me laugh earlier, when they were reporting from outside a supposedly heaving supermarket, which looked remarkably empty to me  :x A bit of hype going on I think  :? ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.

I put on my Christmas edition of my Golden Oldies music night last night, and they all seemed to enjoy it.

It's a miserable-looking morning here - not a bit Christmassy. I'm going out for my Daily Wail now.

Have a nice day.

Morning all,

Very focused today as we leave for Switzerland. We'll stop a Geneva tonight (it's on the way) and head out to the Chalet tomorrow. It seems #1 daughter and grandson have never seen Genveva so a little side trip on the way.

I have a work "thanks for the experience... etc" mail to write and the work laptop is being switched off.

We had Turkey last night and we're having Beef at Christmas so I'm being dispatched to the Butchers for the beef then I need to get my clothes and all the technology we're going to use ready for us leaving.

The target was Mid Day to leave. We're not going to make it. Then again I'm driving so I don't really care..

Unlikely I'll be online much over the festive (although if there is anything particularly to say I do have my mobile and Switzerland is in the free calling zone), so have a really wonderful time and I'll be back when I have time.

Good morning everyone, it's dull and damp here but rather mild. Didn't post yesterday as it was a mad day that started when we got up at 7.30 to get to the supermarket by 9am to do the food shop. Then it was back for Michael's school show, collect Kellie from playschool and we had Michael later on too. They were both in top form so it was all very tiring  and when they had gone, I was mind numbingly tired.

This morning I'm heading off to Kellie's playschool show, on the way I need to collect a raffle prize I won yesterday at Michael's school (the two schools are side by side). Back home for lunch and to do a few bits, then I am going to see Imelda May this evening with my sister, we will have something to eat out first. Miss Osc and SIL are going too but not with us - Mr Osc is babysitting. To be honest I could do without it, but we have had the tickets since August and it seemed like a good idea at the time!
