Price difference!

Don bought me YSL Black Opium perfume for Christmas. I'd got a sample a few months ago in Malaga and raved about it.

He'd got me the 30ml bottle in case I'd changed my mind or wasn't as keen on it as I thought.

Well I am...so I've been googling Boots prices and our Primor.

What a difference!

The 90ml bottle in Primor is 69,95€. (about £62)

A 50ml bottle in Boots is £71.00!!

Guess I'll be going local then.

Boots are very expensive for perfumes!

I love DKNY Be Delicious. In Boots it's £38 for 30ml yet the same size is £20 on Amazon today, and is always around about that price, and the 50ml on Amazon is only £27.95!

Just looked online and House of Fraser are priced the same as Boots.

Why so expensive?

I remember a few years ago getting a couple of bottles of Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers for our Debih...it was less than half the price over here and I00mls so I just popped it into my hand luggage for her.

I remember talking to Kaz too about moisturisers..they're much cheaper over here.

I have no idea. My local Boots is quite small yet the perfume display is half the length of the shop, it amazes me that they sell any at that price when it's available online for much less. There's a Bodycare in town too (and there used to be one in the Pallasades but I don't think it moved anywhere else in the city centre when it was refurbished) which sells perfume much cheaper than Boots, they don't have such a large selection but there's still a good choice.

I managed to get a big bottle of Alien on the plane to Rhodes for €25, which is about half price! I was thrilled, as it's my favourite

I remember talking about the moisturisers Ally. I still like Olay Regenerist, but it's nearly £30 a pot now I tend to grab one when it's on offer, either in Sainsbury's or Superdrug
