Morning to you all,
Cold and grey here.
I have got a rotten cold come on over night and would have
liked a lie in but Don has got a Cardiac Nurse coming at 9.30
so i thought i had better get up and tidy the house before she
arrives. It was good of her to say she would come to us to save
us the bother of going to the health centre and trying to find a
parking space.
Have a good day.

Bit of a waste of everyone's time but they insist on seeing me.

Hope you all have a good day

Yes,, get well soon Lissie and I hope the visit passes speedily Di. Cold and windy here today. The funeral yesterday went as well as could be expected I suppose. It was a Catholic service, the first one I've ever been to. It was a lovely service and one of the Priests had a wonderful singing voice; he sang a solo at the end.

Our daughter is coming round tonight so we need something for tea. We're also going to be needing a different car soon as this one doesn't have isofix (?) baby seat mountings. It's fourteen years old but still really reliable, but it owes us nothing.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all

Lissie, hope the nurse is on time and you can then relax on the sofa with a blanket once she's gone. Di good luck with your appointment as well

Crommers, I remember when growing up; one of the priests in the church we used to go to; he had an amazing voice as well. But best was when we were in SA the first time round (1969 - 1976) we used to belong to the German congregation and attend services which were held in a nearby monastery (http://mariannhillmonastery.org.za/ if anyone is interested; it still exists today) and when the monks formed the choir to sing - just amazing.

Ally, my colleague is thinking of heading to Malaga and/or Seville over Easter; how warm is it usually around then? Warm enough to lie on the beach; but maybe not swim?

Jan, good luck with your domestic goddess and then weeding plans; the weeding is never ending!

Another usual/usual for me :Hi:

have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Good luck with all the various appointments XX

It's bright here for a change, off for a walk into town shortly then up to see D. I need to blow a few cobwebs away, just had my ex on the phone stressing (unnecessarily IMO) about stuff with H. How I lived with that man for a decade I will never know! :cute:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx
