I shouldn't moan about the washing  I frequently used to get in from work, change out of my uniform into jeans and a top and then get changed again to go out - the jeans and top would go in the wash despite being worn for less than an hour. I only found out a few years ago that my Mom used to quickly remove them from the washing basket, fold them neatly as if freshly washed and ironed and the next day put them back in my room. I always thought that she was just incredibly efficient rather than devious :P

Oh my goodness I wear things for ages before chucking them in the wash!!   I think I actively look for reasons not to do things

I'm at work, but it's quiet, and there's only me here so having a sneaky pop on here. I'll delete the history when I'm done though, don't want people (meaning, bosses) knowing what I've been doing!!  It's still pretty cold here :(

I've still got a lot of pain in my arm from when I slipped down stairs in early November! I asked my GP about it but she just gave me some Amytriptilene which is a muscle relaxant (she thinks I tore or pulled a muscle) but I'm wondering if I have done more than that - surely it shouldn't still be THIS painful nearly three months on??

Enjoy your day, whatever you're up to xx

I soon grew out of that habit when I left home and had to do my own washing Gal

Perhaps get your arm checked out again xx

Blood tests were unusually quiet this morning, so got in with no trouble :)
Much more trouble to get the cannula in for the contrast dye for the scans but got there in the end.
Been so looking forward to a yummy coffee, and got it now :)

I'd ask for an xray to be done Gal, just in case. My manager was hobbling around for about 5 weeks thinking he had an arthritis flare up in his ankle; turns out he'd been walking on a leg where the fibula had a small hairline fracture. So if I were you; push for that xray; at least you can then rule out anything else

Enjoy that coffee Di and glad the tests went smoothly; not so good re the cannula though :(

Jan, hope you feel a bit better soon x

Afternoon all :D

Dry and reasonably bright right now, but think rain's forecast for later.

Enjoy your coffee Di, you definitely deserve it after all that xxx

Gal sensible advice from Ria, ask for an xray, always best to be safe.

Hope you feel better soon Jan, good idea to take it easy.

I've been keeping in regular touch with Matthew the wait list chap, apparently there's a big meeting going on as I post He's hoping they will get the go ahead to restart ops soon, at the moment it's still a day to day situation. Mr Sayed operates on Thursdays and when they get the word 3 joints can be scheduled. Matthew has said I will be one of them. I've got to ring back later this afternoon, but I'm not expecting this week, hopefully in the next 2 weeks so fingers tightly crossed.

Have a good day :D
