Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 30 Jan 2018, 06:34

Good morning.

Forecast nice again. :D 8-)

I'm off for a run soon then back to get ready and will head into work.

I've got 44!! pieces of exam writing to correct but more importantly I want to be away from the kitchen as we're (must be something in the air!) having a new oven fitted as well as some work being done to the palm trees in the garden and I don't want to watch Don overseeing it all.

I'll have lunch out with my colleague and then have classes 4 - 9.

My resident chef is making meatballs for dinner. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Rather chilly at the moment, but a clear sky, so hopefully will be a lovely day.

Off to Ourique in a mo, to get a blood test done, then I'll go to the padaria to get some rolls and I'll have a coffee pit-stop o nthe way back.

Hopefully, will be able to gt outside and do some stuff later.

Hope all goes well Ally - best to stear clear ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
A lovely one here, lots of frost on the cars, bright and beautiful :)

The exam marking sounds hard going Ally, but as you say maybe preferable to the alternative!
Good luck with the blood test Ton x

Bb has a dental check up early, I'm going shopping then back in time for my phone appointment, not sure what else.

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're up to.

Good morning al, it's beautiful here - bright and frosty!

Billy's had a long walk over the common and there was the most beautiful sunrise as we walked home. I'm now using the cross trainer (it has an iPad holder) before housework. Joe's gone to college with his contact lenses in, he has a pair to try for each day before going back to Specsavers on Saturday. He said that he struggled to get one in but the other was fine, just a matter of getting used to doing it I suppose.

Have a good day all :D

Bright and frosty here too Jo! Much nicer than rain. Hope you get all your marking done Ally. Good luck to Bb at the dentist's Di. Mick has gone to Bristol to see his today, I'm off to Cheltenham tomorrow to see mine, and my friend E is having a tooth out tomorrow, so dentists seem to be a theme at the moment! Good luck with the blood tests Jan.

Off to town short!y, have been borrowing Mick's fitbit type wristband to count my steps, track heartrate and sleep, since last Thursday. I get plenty of steps on most weekdays, well over 15,000, but nowhere near enough on weekends so might have to do something about that! Went to WW yesterday and have gained a couple of pounds since I reached target, so need to watch that. Out shortly to walk into town, then up to see D.

Have a good day :) xxx

Morning all

A rather frosty morning here as well - had to scrape the windscreen before heading off; but what a lovely sunny day it is; I just love winter days like

Saundra, I'd love to be at home in the garden as well - it's a perfect day for it. Have fun
Ally, good luck with the marking and sensible to head away from home to do it; enjoy the lunch
Jan, good luck to you as well with your bloods and hope you get your rolls and are able to sit outside when you have your coffee pit stop
Di and Kaz, enjoy your respective days and Di, hope the phone appointment goes well and good luck to Bb and Mick for their respective dentist visits.
Jo, you've got more energy than me - long walks, plus the cross trainer and then the housework? I'd do one but not the rest :D :D :D

Usual work day for me then meeting up with a friend for dinner. And then who knows what will greet me when I get home. Just as I was leaving Monty bought in a live mouse and it scurried under my tall bookcase and no way for me to get at it. So I've left it where it is and it'll either still be there when I get home or the cats will have done 'the deed' :( Poor mouse. Hopefully it'll be OK and I can try rescue it later but with 6 cats in the house I'm not sure I give it much hope :(

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Bloods done, can get the results tomorrow, but will wait until Friday, as we're going into Ourique for the market.

Had to wait   as the bloke in front of me was about 20 minutes, no idea what he was having done

The padaria was shut, but as I stopped at the bar for a coffee, the bread man turned up, so got some rolls from him. The had an inquisition from Odette. Where have I been so early? Why? Which blood place is better and as we get older, there's always something going wrong

It's really chilly in the shade, but lovely in the sun.

Hope mousie survives Ria, but like you, have my doubts. If he's sensible, he'll stay where he is and not try and make a break for it 8-)

Poor mouse! Cookers and dentists are definitely a theme at the moment. I hope Mick goes on OK today Kaz, and Bb too Di. Good luck with the bloods Jan. saundra, MrsC hates cleaning the oven too. She was just steeling herself to do it last year when the oven conked out and we had to get a new one! :D She was quite pleased! Son's oven is also kaput, a man is coming to look at it on Friday morning. Definitely something in the air!

Lovely morning here too. Going to B and Q and Aldi for a few bits later.

Have a good day all.

Morning all, sunny here but no frost. I'm going out shortly, first to a shopping centre to get stuff in Boots and a few other things, then to the doctor to collect a prescription renewal, and finally the supermarket on the way home. Mr Osc is not coming as we both feel he would get tired quickly, his energy is still low.
