Morning :)
Think it will struggle to reach 5c here :D
It's lovely though, blue sky and sunshine.

Few jobs and bits to do today, Bb has the hygienist at midday so I'll drop him off and go to some shops then meet him somewhere, maybe for lunch.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all.

I'm in considerable pain still in my neck and shoulder. Tried to make a doctor's appointment but despite ringing exactly on the dot of 8am was stuck in a queue for ten minutes and by the time I got put through all the appointments were gone. I am going to try to change surgeries, I think, D seems to get much better service at hers. So it's another day on paracetemol and hoping whatever is causing this goes away :(

Sorry for the rant :(

Xxxxxx

You rant away Kaz, pain is so draining.
Try taking ibuprofen alternately with the paracetamol, it's quite safe and should be more effective, especially if there's inflammation which it sounds like there could be (((xx)))

That's not good Kaz. Pain is indeed draining, you don't need it t go on and on as well. I hope you get looked at soon.

Same here Di, very cold indeed but a lovely clear blue sky. We could do with some of Ally's 15c!

Off on the mooch today. We need some bits and bobs and I need to contact the dentist again. MrsC and her sis are going to her dad's to do his shopping and cook his dinner. Also to retrieve his hearing aid from his relatives house, where he lost it yesterday.

Have a good day all.

Thank you both ((((x))))

Di anything brufen is a no-no for me, I am asthmatic, and once had a threatened ulcer, both on the list of contraindications. It's such a bloody nuisance!

Ally I really think I will, the prescription service down there is useless too, as the last two times I've submitted repeat requests via the online service for my skin gel the chemist attached to the surgery still hadn't ordered it in, four days later! I had to make a fuss (not something I like having to do) and go back next day! :?

Anyway, I rang the walk-in centre in town, they are seeing me at 1pm, so that's something, but I would far rather see my own doctor.....

Hopefully the walk in centre will sort it for you Kaz.

Admittedly I'm not at the GP much at all (touch wood), but the past few times I've been I'm lucky if I saw the same person twice; so suspect the walk-in may be as effective as your surgery? But could you try something like deep heat cream in the meantime as well Kaz?

Well a usual work day for me then leaving drinks for a colleague this evening.

Have a lovely day all, enjoy your respective pootlings, lunching, working etc... stay warm xxx
