Good morning all, it's sunny and very cold here. I'll take that over the grey rainy days we've had so many of this Winter! I love it when it's like this, I was out of the house with Billy at 6.30 and we got home just before 8. It was lovely; bright and sunny once it got light and the mud was frozen solid, we didn't see another soul in that time.

I've been shopping since then and and I need to pop over to the Post Office shortly. I collected Joe's contact lenses while I was in town. We've taken out a subscription with Specsavers and although I had to collect his first lot from the store, they'll be mailed to the house in future. He's gone for the daily disposable ones.

We're picking Tom and Shannon up this evening and all going to the Pie Factory in Tipton for Tom's birthday meal, two days early but he's got plans for his birthday and the weekend. Really looking forward to that.

Still waiting for Joe's Amazon parcel which should've been here yesterday. We've benefited from yet another month of free Prime plus a £5 credit to our Amazon account because they failed to deliver yesterday.

Kaz, I hope you can get sorted and out of pain. I registered for online booking at our GPs at the end of January, I did it for ordering prescriptions but had a nosy at appointment availability when I registered and the earliest I could see (and remember that this was the end of last month) was Feb 22nd. I know they have on the day availability but it's actually getting through to get one of those that's a problem.

Di, did you get your cooker?

Have a good day all!

Same here Jo, I do actually have an appointment, that I made last week, for the 20th, to discuss being referred for light therapy for my psoriasis again. Three weeks for a non-urgent appointment :? Becky used to have her contacts delivered but she's gone back to glasses again.

I hope so Ria xxx

Good morning all, we woke to a very heavy frost which has all gone now, but it is still very cold, we had to have the heat on for two hours instead of the usual one  Gym shortly, then Mr Osc wants to spend some time hitting balls at the driving range so we will have some lunch in the cafe there, and do the supermarket shop on the way home.

My new dance shoes arrived yesterday :D :D very nice and they all fit well :Hi: They will last for years and were great value. Our surgery has stopped their morning walk in clinic, which is a shame although I can understand their reasoning, it was overflowing into appointment time.

Morning everyone

We'll be hitting the balmy heights of 12C later 8-) 8-)  The wind has dropped, so makes it feel much warmer.

Such a pain in the nuisance for you Kaz, all the palaver. But hope you get some help this afternoon.

Feeling a little better each day, but still cream crackered. Limiting myself to things I like doing at the moment    Also still no appetite - me??  but I had a biscuit before the tablet this morning and then had an acitmel when I got up. When/if I feel hungry later on, I have some fresh cheese to munch on :D :D

Need to get the books sorted that Steve lent us. What I know I'm not going to read, what I will read and put them in piles. The spare room looks like we're moving, with 4 boxes in it

Have a good day everyone, and stay warm xx

Morning all.........almost

Hope the walk in doctor can give you something to relieve the pain Kaz. As Di says, it's so draining.

Take it easy Jan.

E's been into town for fruit and veggies, I stayed here in the warm, such a palaver for him to push the chair when it's only a quick trip.

Have a good day :D

Well it seems to be a pulled muscle, plus it might also be something to do with the arthritis in my neck, so I need to self refer for physio. If the waiting list is too long, I might use the private insurance and go to Cheltenham, where D had her eyez done. At least it's nothing nasty, just painful!

Ria I have some emulgel that D gave me. I'll try that on top of the paracetamol.
