I don't even know how to describe just how atrocious it is out there this morning...there's rain, and there's wind, and then there is this...had to turn the tv up!

Mri scan at 1.15, hope it improves a bit by then.

Morning all, we've got the same weather here Di....it's horrible!

Tom's stayed overnight as he's off to Ashbourne this morning so needed his car. I'm a bit annoyed with him and a John, something petty but still. They used the little handheld Dyson last night to give Tom's car a hoover out which I didn't know about (no problem there but it would've saved me some head scratching and looking around in various places) but I needed it this morning and couldn't find it. They'd left it in the utility room (I keep it in the under stairs cupboard on the middle floor) and when I came to use it there was no charge left. John said it had stopped working after 5 minutes last night. No idea why he didn't think to stick it on charge - he'd have been in a real grump if he'd have been the one who wanted to use it and the battery was flat!

Joe's in college all day.

Morning all. Damp but not raining. The family stayed over last night as their new bathroom was out of action because a self leveling floor had been put down. At least my daughter-in-law and the two girls stayed, Andrew stayed at home with his two cats and dog and presumably peed in a bucket. They were gone by the time I got up. I'm having lunch with a friend and that's about it for my day.

That John Simm drama looks good. I have the first episode taped to watch later.

Holiday here, so all is quiet, apart from the hunters Carnival time

We ordered the gravel for tomorrow, so we can crack on with the - hopefully - last path. grumpy will rake it, I'll get wheelbarrows of stones, then I'll spray it with my fiendish weedkiller and gravel it tomorrow

No pancakes, but pasties for us tonight. Might pop down to the bar, we'll see.

As for the weather - let's just say that I am now officially more than done with winter. Enough is enough and I'm beyond ready for some warmer weather - heck, even two or three consecutive days of sunshine will do just fine.
Jo; I'd be mightily annoyed as well

No pancakes for me today - I did buy a tub of that ready mix (not sure what they're like so figured I'd give it a go), but will save it for the weekend.

usual work day for me and then off to a friends for dinner tonight; she's making curry Barbados style - no idea what that is, but I'm sure it'll be fab
