Daft, isn't it?

But normal here 8-) 8-)

We0're going to the grill place in Ourique next week and he'll ask if we want rice and salad, as a lot of English don't like it on the same plate.

I'd eat boar, we get sausages from the farm shop and they're lovely.
Not in a stew though, but then I wouldn't like pork stew either - only as a chilli.
Hare, no, never - don't eat rabbit either.

The pork here is much better than the pork in England Di and beef is so expensive and they have really weird cuts of meat, very difficult to know what to buy, even after askingthe butcher and having a chart

Came back from Jackie and Steve's with a huuuuge bag of oranges, so will be squishing some of them for juice tomorrow :Hi: :Hi:

And also a large bag of kumquats. Not quite sure what to do with them :?

Our orange trees have produced hundreds, and I mean hundreds of fruit so far this year. We have freshly squeezed gallons of the stuff in the fridge.

Kumquats...I just eat them as they come or you could make a chutney. :D

That's our order for the weekly Chinese (which we are having tonight since we missed out last night!), but minus salad....one portion of fried rice, with chips, along with one portion of chicken in black bean sauce - it's just the right amount for us both!

Just a quick update.
It really is worth complaining about things. Joe had a call from Nationwide yesterday, saying that they don't know how they reverted to using our old address but it most certainly shouldn't have happened and as way of an apology they are crediting his account with £125.
