Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 24 Feb 2018, 06:58

Good morning.

A nice day forecast so I'll get a walk in early. :D :D

Walking into town to get a few bits and will have a spot of lunch in the plaza. :D :D

Will see what the evening brings..... ;) ;)

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all

another nippy start to the day - the thermometer for the greenhouse is showing -4.5. The ground is hard with frost and I hope this next week finally does us gardeners a favour and goes deep enough to kill whatever slug eggs there are

Quiz night tonight so making sausage rolls and banana muffins to take along. Oh and meat balls, but cheated with those and bought them ready mixed and formed so just need to fry them up.

Hoping to get to the allotment at some point this weekend to strim down the grass, but suspect it may be too hard / wet - I'll see how it goes.

Have a lovely day all, stay warm and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Morning :)
Yep, bright and beautiful and f-f-freezing!

Your quiz night sounds fun Ria, any sausage rolls to spare would be welcome :)

Bb will be working but not for long, so will call in w/rose for shopping.
I will be going nowhere as this pain is not shifting very fast.
Instead I will be trying to get the washing up to date.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning, but nippy at the moment, but will be warming up to about 20C later 8-) 8-) 8-)

Hope your pain eases today Di - I've joined you in the agony stakes, as I bent down to pick something up yesterday and the sciatic nerve has twanged. Can just about walk upright, but it's easier to walk around lat an angle

Will try and get some stuff done, including dinner, but think the cleaning will have to wait until I'm a little more mobile.

Hope Jen is feeling better too x

Enjoy your quiz Ria x

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

I hope the pain shifts soon for you Di. What have we told you about doing too much Jan? Ria, it sounds to be colder where you are. We have no frost this morning.

MrsC to her dad's shortly, a bit of shopping later and then tonight a drink of red whilst looking after the world's most enthusiastic dog.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Your day sounds good Ally :)

Oh yummy Ria, enjoy the quiz and the food tonight! I love banana-y things :D

(((Di))) I'm sorry the tablets aren't helping, such a shame you aren't well enough to get out :( Hope they kick in properly soon!

Sciatic pain is horrid Jan, hope it eases up :( Take it easy xxx

A lovely sunny, but chilly day here :) Out for our usual brunch and mooch in a bit - Gloucester Docks looks lovely in winter sunshine 8-) B has a hairdressing appointment, but as the HD's is literally right next door to Corretto's I'm sure she'll be joining me and Mick at some point  Then up to see D later.

I had to give in and buy some already budding daffs in pots the other day, as for the first time since we moved here my spring bulbs have failed :? Bit disappointing, but at least we'll have some colour out there soon! Must have been a duff batch

Have a good day everyone, and hugs for anyone feeling under the weather (((((x))))) xxx

Morning all, nice bright morning here and we had no frost. I have lots on today's list, mostly to do with organising for our trip next week, although going on what I heard on the radio this morning we will be lucky to even get out of Dublin Airport on Wednesday if we get the weather that is being forecast :( However, we will press on :? The weather is something over which we have no control. I'll get out for a walk later between doing stuff.

Di, so sorry you are still in pain.
