Hope you're feeling a bit better Jen x

Lissie, that's shocking - I know it's not his job to do it, but did he not even offer to help with the hot water over the pipes; cannot believe he left you to do it on your own? :(

I'm so glad we're not over in England - that's ferlippin' cold Lissie :o :o

And yes, boo hiss to the water board bloke :cute: :cute:

Sorry you couldn't make the trip Osc, but have fun in the snow x

We've had a couple of showers and had to let about 3 inches of water out of the pool

Quite warm, no fire lit yet and we're planning on going out still, for dinner. The Palma, I think, then back to the bar for a couple of glasses of wine.

Dentist was fine nothing to do and I let her do a clean as she promised to be gentle, and she was.

Our boiler started making loud noises this morning, like a kettle boiling. Quite scary but we remembered it happened before when it was very cold, and yes Lissie it's the pipe that takes the condensation from the boiler to the drain.
So Bb went out with the kettle and poured it all along and soon after it stopped.
But I've had to do it again since, it's so cold it had frozen again!
Lissie I can't believe the man didn't do that for you

Had the dreaded phone call again, been cancelled for the 3rd time! Apparently A&E had 30 broken limbs today so all ops scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled so that they can deal with it. I will find out Monday if it's likely to go ahead next week.

Beyond fed up, but still feeling a bit icky so maybe it's for the best.
