That is rotten luck Jen. Hopefully they will sort it next week.

Managed to get to the dentist ok and have had a temporary crown fitted, so it was worth it; otherwise it would have been a four or five week wait again.

Sorry, Jen, that's really tough. But perhaps, as others have said, for the best.

Did you get your Big Coat out for the trot to the dentists, Crommers?

It's been quite a bright, breezy day here today, but there was a snow flurry just now as I was putting the recycling out. We are supposed to be getting more organised snow from tomorrow afternoon onwards; the local secondary schools are closing all day and Friday but we are awaiting on our local primary to see what they're doing - Mrs O volunteers to hear reading on Thursday afternoons ....

We had fun with Michael and Kellie then came back and had a sleep! None of us had slept well last night and were awake early this morning. We went to the pub next door for something to eat with Miss Osc and family and are very glad we cancelled, having seen how badly Scotland is being affected, not to mention the forecast for here tomorrow and Friday. We have suggested that Miss Osc and SIL try and get a night away locally tomorrow, or alternatively just have a night at home to themselves and we will have Kellie for a sleepover - Michael will be staying with his cousins anyway. To be honest, it is quite nice to think of going to bed in my own bed tonight.
