Usual Friday beers and tapas tonight. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally.
Why do we keep saying "Good morning when the weather is so bad. Very cold wind. The temperature in the car was showing minus 2 when I went for the paper. Probably due to the chill factor.
Not gong out again today. The snow is slowly disappearing. None on the roads and pavcements in our sideroad now but some still on the garden.
Have a good day everybody.

Not a good morning, it's horrible here.

We've had no more snow overnight thankfully (although there's more forecast for later) but there's an incredibly strong wind and I came across some waist high drifts while out with Billy. I was getting a bit worried actually as I couldn't see how high they were, because of the way the land lies there, until I was in them  John's not able to get into work as the A34 is blocked (it's the only through road) and the police are turning people back. He could walk to town and get a bus but they're suspended until further notice!

Stay warm everyone!

Morning Cruiser :)

Jo, we have drifts as well, my back garden is piled up!

Shan't be going far today! B has the day off, we're planning to binge watch the last few episodes of Requiem, maybe some How to Winter Abroad ( :P :cute: ), and we'll take the dogs onto the field and let them play :) Fraggle loves rolling his ball into a big snowball :D  Pepper is much better :(

Morning everyone

Wet and windy here. I like the wet, just not that wind

Berlimey Jo

Will try and get hold of Sergio later, but as rain and high winds are forecast until Monday, I can't see him coming out until Tuesday. No English tv for a few days then

Stay as warm and as safe as you can over there xx

We are desperate for rain Kaz - we've not had a proper deluge since last March.

Good morning all. Kaz, I'd love to stay in too, but staying in isn't an option for us today as FiL needs some shopping and so do we. The estate roads are like ice rinks round here; the snow started to melt a bit late yesterday afternoon then froze last night. The wind is bitter out there too.
Jo, I hope that pooch appreciates you, waist high drifts sound no fun!

Jan, I hope you get your TV fixed and that you get your rain Ally. Soon be spring Cruiser!

Out of ideas for lunch today, it might end up being chip Friday. :D

Have a good day all.

Morning :)
Pretty horrendous here!
We had snow the whole day yesterday, the pipe froze again during the afternoon, then in the evening we got freezing rain, little ice pellets hurling down.
It looked very pretty, literally like a layer of glitter coating the snow :)

Pipe of course frozen again this morning, I did the first two kettlefuls then got Bb up to take over, it took five I think but we now have heat.

There are over a hundred people trapped on a train just outside of Christchurch (just down the road), which left Waterloo before 6 last night

No art anyway, the whole centre is closed. It should have been our last session but our lovely tutor has said he will do next week instead :)

Bb has been out with Minnie, it's treacherous out there, thankfully we don't need to step outside again - other than to thaw the pipe!

Take care all

Hope you get the telly sorted soon Jan!

Ally, I hope you get lots then, but only for a short while!

Crommers take care out there, I usually go food shopping on Fridays with D, but she is well stocked up, I picked up her prescription meds yesterday, and we stocked up on some basics 8-)

Di, I saw those poor stranded people on Breakfast :? I'm glad you'll get your art session next week instead :) xx
