The drive men have cancelled again. Due to the backlog last week, which seems odd seeing as they were midway through ours when the snow started so I'd have thought they'd have just picked up where they left off.
Oh well, they don't get paid until it's finished.

How marvellous that that short film starring the 6 year old deaf girl from Swindon won at the Oscars in Hollywood.
We saw on the local news that the lass was out there for the award ceremony - what a fantastic time it must have been for her ....

Ossie, do you get the same local news as us? She's a lovely little girl, it's an amazing achievement which will hopefully raise awareness for deafness, especially in childhood
