I've been saying for some time that the size of meals served up at most eating places is far too big.
Whenever we get a meal in a hotel or restaurant, there is usually twice as much food on the plate
than we would have at home, and I have often thought that the Government ought to tell caterers
that they should reduce the size of their servings. I am pleased they have done so - about time too.
It will be interesting to see whether meal prices are correspondingly reduced too.

Go away!

This was supposed to be a serious thread, however, in the spirit of thread evolution local news reported a raid by police on Greggs, but it turned out to be 'A' shift getting in their lunch orders. Ass't Commissioner, R Sole, confirmed that officers' (G,peppered steak slice), (C, creamy chicken and mushroom) and (N, sausage, beans and bacon breakfast) orders were delivered on time and that work continues as normal.

Meanwhile, back at PHE HQ, organic, vegetarian and vegan director, Q Cumber, passed away at the shocking news and will be composted along with last year's fallen leaves. :P

I think I owe you an apology, WM, for ruining your serious thread. I must admit, after my first flippant post, I wasn't expecting all the Snickers from other forum members ..... :D
