I've been using the Charge 2 for nearly 18 months now. I really love it, I also have the app on my phone for a bit more detail from it.

Check the reviews carefully MM, all the articles I've read say that none of them are particularly accurate.

I was being honest.

IMHO they are a 'toy', and a very expensive and unnecessary one, a bit like a (not so) smartwatch.

Each to their own, absolutely, but if you already own a watch..... ;) :) :)

But I don't :lol: :lol: I haven't had a watch for years.

I am not interested in losing weight, just getting myself a bit fitter. I did read the article about 10 mins of power walking and the idea is a good one, but I know I wont do it.

I dont want to read calories and work out my diet. I know my heart rate is high, I can check that myself. I dont really need to increase my heart rate, it beats at over 90 anyway.

Maybe 10,000 steps a day isnt the panacea they sold us, but surely someone walking 10,000 steps a day has to be fitter than someone sitting on their backside all day?

I'm not overly worried about how accurate it is Jen, near enough is good enough for me. At the moment I use an app on my phone, but I dont have my phone on me half the time, its sitting on my desk or on the kitchen table or in my bag.

Shell, that is one thing I will agree with - I don't think mine is very accurate and when I wake in the morning I will have done about 200 steps. But then saying that I am a very restless sleeper and do get up during the night so it's quite plausible that I would have moved that much (just not walking, but the fitbit can't tell the difference)
