Our council tax is about 39€ a year - but because it's so low, they don't bother collecting it

I'd be more than happy to pay a couple of hundred a year, but as we don't have street lights, water, sewage and our bins are emptied once a week, then I guess we shouldn't complain.

€39 a year??
Ours has gone up by £10 a month, we're now paying £1700 a year.

I know Jo - but we don''t have any services, apart from the weekly bin collection.

Oh, and the local council chuck some gravel out of the back of a truck, once a year ish, so we can fill in the pot-holes on the track ourselves

Our council tax back in England, 12 years ago was about 800 squid, so would be double that now.

That's more attention than the roads here are getting :(
We have weekly bin collections but one week it's the recycling bin and the next it's the normal waste...food etc :?

We have only just, in the last few months, got recycling bins. Near the bar.

Otherwise, it's just chuck everything in the bins and they come once a week.

In Fuzeta, they'd be there every night and then would clean them once a month. Different system here, sadly.

We don't have a road as such, it's a stone track, so full of ruts, now we've had a lot of rain. Most people have 4x4's, because it's easier to drive over the humps and bumps. We're having to weave from side to side

There's a picture of a car sticker which keeps appearing on Facebook, saying "I'm not drunk, I'm just avoiding pot holes"
