Glad you managed to get an egg Di, how is the pain management going?

It's raining here so although we'd intended going out to the shops, E felt it didn't make sense for us both to get wet so decided to jump on the bus and pop into town on his own. It does mean I've had to wait for him to get back home before getting in the shower, he feels it's too risky for me to do it when there's no one here to help if I fall. He's right and it's sensible, but very frustrating, finally sitting down for brekkie!!

Intend to have a lazy afternoon.

Afternoon all, mixed weather here - sun and showers. I was up and out early enough, I brought our bedlinen to be laundered (my treat for myself after our busy week last week ). Then I went on to a shopping centre to get cards and presents for my brother and grand nephew. I knew my sister was going to the same shopping centre, so I texted her and we met in Starbucks for a cuppa and a chat. I was looking for a light coat and saw one in Dunnes Stores, but they didn't have the colour I liked in my size - however my sister will be in town tomorrow and look out for it for me. Did the supermarket shop on my way home. Now I want to do some handwashing and Mr Osc will get the dinner.

Jen it took over three weeks but for now the pain is gone, with taking just the two nortryptiline each night.
The pain nurse is coming to see me again tomorrow.
