Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 28 Mar 2018, 05:12

Good morning.

Another gorgeous day forecast. 8-) 8-)

A walk shortly then back to get ready to go and see my folks. It's their 57th wedding anniversary. :D :D

I'm taking them out for lunch. Only the Tudor Rose (their choice) but the views are lovely and they love eating outside.

Conor & Lucia flew at sparrow o'clock this morning to spend a couple of days in Dublin then on to Cork till Monday. :D

Masterchef tonight. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning :)
Raining here, set for the day I think.

Congratulations to your mum and dad Ally :)

Bb will be taking me down the lane for treatment this morning, that's about my excitement for the day.

I did manage to get most of our holiday insurance claim done yesterday, just need to scan it all and print some off. It seems jolly complicated.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning Ally, Di and everyone

Gorgeous morning here :Hi: :Hi:

Happy Anniversary to your mum and dad Ally xx

How you feeling today Di? Better, I hope.

Off to Ourique for a busy morning after an eggy breakfast - we have 2 friends with chickens and this week I have 2 dozen to get through    - into see Nelson to get some pipe and petrol for the strimmer, Alentejana for wine, ham and some fresh veg, the drogaria for something, I've forgotten  the euro shop for bits and bobs, cashpoint for money, up to the centre de saude to collect prescription, chemist for the tablets and frontline for Molly, then Pingo ;)

Pit-stop for coffee on the way back.

Grumpy will be strimming this afternoon and I'll be weeding.

Heading back to the bar to meet various friends later, as I've promised them a broccoli each

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Blimey Jan, are you in training for a job working on the roads?
Shovelling all that gravel, you'll deserve a beer or two after that. Di, they don't make that paper work easy I bet. Ally, have a lovely day with your folks. 57th wedding anniversary! They've lasted longer than Cliff Richard and the Shadows!

OK-ish sort of day here which means it isn't raining right now. I'm taking an old carpet to the dump today. The top is no problem, the trusty stanley knif has seen to that, but the underlay is stapled to the floor. Ooh me knees.

Have a good day all.

Morning all, it's bright enough outside, but looks like we could have rain too. Gym this morning, and plenty to do afterwards. I need to post off presents for my brother and grand nephew, and tackle the ironing. The bathrooms could do with a good clean too rather than the lick and a promise they got last week.

Happy anniversary to your Mum and Dad, Ally, and to you too Saundra, I'm sure you have lovely memories of the day. Di, I hope the insurance pays up without quibble, and maybe you will manage a few days away later on when the weather gets better.

Pouring with rain here so won`t be going far.
Two phone calls before 8.30 (i hate early calls as i worry that something is wrong) one
from the Boiler Firm to cancel tomorrow`s appointment to fit new parts and the other
from Doctor to say he has put Don on even more tablets as his last blood test showed he
needed Folic acid and something else.
The Physio is coming to see him today and showing him some exercises to build his legs up.
I am so tired as all i seem to do is run about to chemist, doctors and take phone calls to
make appointments for Don. The calendar for April is filling up fast. I don`t mind helping
as he can`t help being poorly but no one seems to offer me any help. If any thing
happened to me i don`t know how he would cope as he can`t answer the phone or drive or
walk to the shops. I better make sure i keep going!!!
Post just been and yet another letter for Don to have Ultra sound scan on his Aortic Artery
to check that it is not getting too big.
Have a good day and sorry for the moaning.

Morning all :)

Congrats to your mum and dad, Ally :D

((((Saundra))))

Hope you get the insurance sorted Di - they always make it simple for getting the money from us, not so paying it back  :cute:

Well it's wet here  Luckily it stayed dry for us yesterday and we got up the hill, to the graveyard. It's so beautiful and peaceful up there! Not sure what I'm doing yet today, apart from getting out from under M's feet while he's busy ;) Zumba tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xx
