Good morning Easter Sunday

Postby Ally » 01 Apr 2018, 06:16

Good morning.

A lovely day forecast. 8-) 8-)

Picking mum & dad up and we're going to Cartama market. The fruit and veg sold there is gorgeous and there's a couple of stalls that sell great vintage dresses so I'll be homing in on them.

Back to the holiday apartment for a spot of lunch then home to chill out for the rest of the day. I've had a very busy week.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all

Well, happy Easter and pinch punch first of the month

Ally, I'm curious - given it's Easter Sunday today is that not also a day of lots of parades and church things; or was the Semana Santa the main lot with the last parades yesterday? Is there anything special tomorrow?

I'm up early and need to get ready to head over to the family for Easter Breakfast; not sure what the rest of the day has planned

Have a lovely day all

It's completely different over here Ria and every city, town or village has its own traditions.

Every day of the Holy Week there are lavish processions.

Today in our town it's the final procession of the Nazarenos at noon.

Easter Monday is back to normal. Banks, schools etc all re-open....quite refreshing after the madness of the past 10 days.

Morning :)
Dull but dry, meant to be the best day of the weekend, but that's not saying much!

Ally your day sounds lovely, Ria family breakfast sounds good too :)
We have a greedy day, bacon rolls for brunch, chocolate eggs of course, and a half leg of lamb for dinner :D

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you and yours enjoy it

Morning everyone

Started off lovely but clouded over now  ready for rain tomorrow

Late start as we had rather a late night - far too much beer, but a lovely evening in the bar. Never seen it so busy. Lovely mix of mostly Portuguese and a few English, all chatting away and buying lots of beer. The round was for the whole bar   and was under 10 euros :o 8-)

Was hoping to get out in the garden, but think I'd better do the prep fpor dinner first, then see how time goes. Also need to vacuum and mop the floors.

Your days sound lovely, enjoy and Feliz Pascoa xx

we will be munching on a cake of almond, fig and acorn later :?

Morning all, sounds like some nice days planned :D

The sun's out! :Hi:

I'm cooking a leg of lamb with all the trimmings, Chris is coming over for the day, and D is coming for lunch :) Harry isn't well, so won't be coming this Easter - I sent him a huge Easter egg, and we're going to pop over to see him soon.

Have a lovely Easter Sunday everyone :) xx

Good morning. Dull and dam here but it isn't raining at least. I wish we were having a family day but our daughter and her husband are going to his parents for dinner and our son is out on a date, if he's recovered from his friends stag do last night.

There are some lovely days on here though!

Have a good day everyone.
