What birds do you have in your garden?

I don't know many of the birds we have in the garden, as they're furrin

I need me mate Keith, the twitcher, to come and tell me what they are.

We do have a cuckoo at the moment, which is driving us both up the wall. Noisy blighter

I was only thinking earlier that I hadn't heard a cuckoo yet this year.

I have looked out of the window and there is a huge Heron sitting on the top of the holly tree.
Went to get the camera but too late he has gone.

Blackbirds who fight
every year collared doves come every day to drink at my bird bath
This year there is only one so where is its mate
And the odd pigeon
No seagulls they go next door she feeds them

We have a surprising number of different types of birds visiting our garden, and we have hung a bird feeder from one of the trees.
We are situated in an area that has a multitude of trees in parks and woodlands, and Mrs A has kept a long list of all the birds that
have visited us over the past years, as she is an expert at identifying them.
