Now I'm waiting for a call from Specsavers. We paid for his first 3 months of lenses at the start of Feb and was told that after that we'd pay monthly and they'd be posted out to us. We both assumed that it'd start after the three months we'd paid upfront for had passed. However, they started taking the direct debit in March and it's gone again this month but no lenses have been sent at all.

I don't know how SS work but it sounds similar to us - I assume Joe hasn't worn contacts before, and what happens is you are supplied with 3 contacts plus solutions which lasts for three months and you pay for those up front. But we, like SS, are not a credit company, so when you get the next three months delivery they have already been paid for with your DD - does that make sense? So you won't get any actual lenses until the three months are up, even though you are paying for them monthly - it's no different to paying once for three months' lenses, just broken up into regular payments. Let me know if this clears it up for you Really surprised SS haven't gone through this with you

It's wet here again today. I was working this morning, but not next week!!! I'm not stopping working Saturdays completely yet, but I am now working every OTHER week Yesterday I met up with Jan, my old work pal, for a coffee or two and a bit of a shop, it was lovely to see her. Today after work Tom and I popped to Darlington for a look out, we bought some bits and bobs and called into Costa (of course!) Tonight it's Chinese and telly, hope there's something decent on!
