Afternoon everyone :)

Di, I'm glad you had a good night's sleep :) 8-)

It's dull and a bit chilly here :( I've done a bit of weeding, Mick was going to cut the lawn, but it's a bit too wet still from the rain yesterday. We've been out for the papers, and are now watching Dr Who on W  Lamb steaks and baked veggies later :)

Love to all :) xxx

We've had such a lovely day.

Walked miles along the beach. 8-) 8-)

Had lunch sitting outside just lapping up the niceness of Nerja.

More walking - lots! - and 3 different flavours of ice cream in a special 3 piece ice cream tray. Pineapple, watermelon and raspberry. :D :D

Back to the hotel to shower and we're off now for a couple of beers and a Chinese. We're going to have a set menu so's we can have lots of different smaller dishes. There's just too much to choose from.

Hope you've all had good days. x

Evening all, we are home having survived two Ryanair flights in three days and the trials of security at Manchester airport. For a 40 minute flight, we had to be at the airport two hours in advance. Security was not busy when we went in, but they appeared to be "randomly" checking over 50% of bags, both my case and handbag were taken aside to be searched, to join the queue of other bags waiting to be searched, swabbed and scanned again. I am always meticulous about liquids yet most of the things in my makeup bag were put in with my liquids including a sample size mascara - I am pretty sure you could not do anything threatening with one of those  and my hot air hairbrush was taken out to be scanned again  It's not as if we are inexperienced travellers but they seem to be over-zealous - one young man waiting with me said he is regularly delayed there by up to 40 minutes

However we had a nice weekend and are looking forward to our next little trip - Benidorm on Tuesday, although Ryanair again :(

Osc, Manchester Airport security must be the worst I've ever encountered.

Newark was fab the other week though. No one in front of us and very friendly and chatty guards.
