Oh for one last ride in my old Reliant Scimitar GTE. Man or auto overdrive in third or fourth. "Active" suspension in that it let you know every bump and pot-hole by throwing you any way 'it' wanted. No rust and not even one 'safety' feature...raw driving.

Oh WM. In 1983 my dad died and left me a bit of money. So, being young and daft I went out and bought a red sports car, a Triumph TR6. Crude compared to today's cars, but beautiful.
A straight six engine and overdrive on third and fourth. You could just play with the overdrive lever and hear the lovely growl of the straight six rise and fall.
