I did have a good time, and the police were ever sooo 'sympathetique' with my predicament. When I put my finger gun to my head and said "Idiot" they just laughed. They must have met so many.

Sorry you had to endure security at Manchester airport. I avoid flying from there as it's the worst/rudest/slowest I've ever experienced, and that's just going through without being stopped for any reason.
