Sounds like you had a great time. I was worried when Jan said the police had been involved

Only if you're a prat. Normal people would find it stressful and have to lie down with 'salts' a strong spirit in hand. ;)

I did have a good time, and the police were ever sooo 'sympathetique' with my predicament. When I put my finger gun to my head and said "Idiot" they just laughed. They must have met so many.

Glad you had a good break and made it back OK, Frank. You're braver than I would be, international airports and Ryanair and so on.

Sounds like it was a ...... let's just say memorable trip !

Great to see you back Frank

Sorry you had to endure security at Manchester airport. I avoid flying from there as it's the worst/rudest/slowest I've ever experienced, and that's just going through without being stopped for any reason.

Can't flippin' wait for Birmingham

Oh dear Frank, think it will have to be a "minder" if you travel again, but you enjoyed it and it probably did you good.
Airport staff can be a bit troublesome sometimes.
Give some people a uniform and they become so officious
