Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 28 Apr 2018, 04:58

Good morning.

Summer's here. 8-) 8-)

There's a cicada outside with a particularly loud chirrup that woke me extra early this morning.

Off for a quick run then back to chill out for the day. We bought new sun loungers yesterday and one of them has my name on it.

A stroll into town this evening for a beer and a bite to eat. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Hope Jen is recovering well. xx

Good Morning Ally and all who follows.
Up early as daughter, grand daughter and grand son in law are visiting this morning.
Must get some supplies in as Dean loves his biscuits and cakes and as Becky is a vegan he
does`nt get as many as he used to.
It will be lovely to see them.
Son is going to bring Klara and baby Cici to see us. I wonder if they will come today as well.
That would be nice.
Raining hard at the moment and quite cold.

Morning :)
Cloudy and dull, rain due later. Ditto for tomorrow...

Bb will be working and calling in for shopping, not sure what I'll be doing, but there's a couple of tv recordings to catch up on, and there is cricket later.

New sun loungers sound good Ally :)
Enjoy your visitors Lissie, and everyone else enjoy your day

Good morning all, it's dull and drizzly here. Quite chilly too.

Bill's had his walk, i said I'd take him a quick loop seeing as it looked like it would pour down any minute and I think he hears that and sees it as a challenge of just how long he can make a quick loop of the woods last. We were out for well over an hour  While we were gone Tom went to work and John dropped Joe off at his work too.

He's now reattaching the skirting boards and architrave which he removed last week to lay the wood flooring. We might pop to Lichfield this afternoon.

We couldn't have been too scary for Joe's girlfriend yesterday, they got her at 2ish and Tom gave her a lift home at 10.30

Kaz, that sounds like the kind of gap year that John would enjoy!

Have a good day all!

Jo the girlfriend sounds lovely :)

I just got well and truly cheered up, my lovely uncle Arthur phoned for a 45 minute chat full of tales of travel and much laughter...he is 82 but still very young :)

Morning everyone

Clouding over now and we're supposed to have showers every now and then.

Been into Ourique to see Dr Paulo after yesterdays emergency dash in the ambulance to Beja Hospital  No idea why these palpitations are happening, but I will have tablets to stop them, rather than have to go to Castro every time. Another 24 hour monitor to be fitted

Steve has just been up and he'll fit the water heater next week. I'll have to remind Gez about the kango, as that's holding work up now.

Will attack the ironing as soon as I've drunk this breakfast - oats, natural yoghurt, banana and orange juice - then make the curry for tonight. Bit late on that

Enjoy having the family around Lissie xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

We don't know why they happen Ally :? :? :?

I'd been in the garden most of the afternoon, weeding, stopping for 15 minutes or so, weeding etc. Bent down and bang! Got changed and grabbed Grumpy and off we went to Castro.

Luckily, the on duty doctor is the senior cardiologist at Beja Hospital, so once he'd stopped my heart  , put me on a drip, done various tests, he then sent me to beja, to see his wife, who also works there. Grumpy had to follow in the car.

They did all the tests again and everything is fine. Lovely strong heart, no idea why this is happening.

Dr Paulo thinks it's the thyroid, so I'm on tablets for that. The last blood test in February was spot on and all of yesterdays were too

The chemist didn't have the tablets, so I'll have to get them on Monday.

Bit of a worry, but there's no heart problems, so it's just find out what the cause is.
