The R word raises its ugly head again

Postby Suff » 12 May 2018, 11:28

As we continue down our path of refusing to stay under the "control" of the EU, the UN sends an "investigator" to "confirm" that the UK is becoming more racist; because it does not want uncontrolled immigration and will not bend to the UN/EU vision of the 1st world being flooded with 3rd world "emigrants".

The Guardian, of course, has a headline which states "UK has seen 'Brexit-related' growth in racism, says UN representative"

Now I've read that article to a point and at that point I stopped reading it. Because the headline and the UN "investigators" statement are nothing more than a politically fuelled lie to try and sway the people from a path the UN wants the UK to be on.

Why do I say that? Well just read.

Achiume spent 11 days in the UK investigating the impact of Brexit on racial equality. But she went beyond that mandate, highlighting the scandal of misapplication of “hostile environment” policies on the Windrush generation of Caribbean migrants, the disproportionate criminalisation of black people, and the “sustained and pervasive” vilification of Muslims via Prevent, the government’s counter-radicalisation strategy.

That simple statement invalidates any further reading of the article. Let's take this apart false statement by false statement.

Windrush has its roots in 2009 and the changes being made by the Blair/Brown government. The biggest casualties of those changes were UK residents from the Empire days who had not felt the need to take British citizenship. Nothing in their experience of the UK had led them to believe that they needed to. It wasn't just Blacks either. Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders. All fell into this trap.

Disproportionate criminalisation of Blacks? Of the 50 odd people Murdered in London alone, this year, the vast majority of them have been murdered by Black Gang violence. The response by the "anti racist" groups? Stop keeping lists of Black gangs unless you have 85% more "white gang" details on file. Never mind the fact that it is the Black parents of these youths in the Black gangs who are demanding the police do something about it.

As for, the “sustained and pervasive” vilification of Muslims via Prevent, the government’s counter-radicalisation strategy? This one absolutely has to take the biscuit, ISIS is on the UN list of "Crimes against Humanity". The largest single contributor to IS, from 1st world countries, is the UK via radicalisation. Yet when we do something about it, we are accused of “sustained and pervasive” vilification of Muslims. Oh and lest we forget it, IS and the measures to try and fight it, pre date Brexit.

At this point the discerning reader should stop reading.

The largest amount of racism I have seen, since the Brexit vote, is Anti Semitism practised by Remain leaning Labour MP's. Notably, completely absent from this article. Or, for all I know, from the UN "investigators" report.

I have read two versions of the report and Achiume makes many claims and accusations without offering a shred of evidence for any of them.

She also confuses race with religion and Islamophobia with justified intolerance of the actions of some of its followers.

It has all the hallmarks of a report that will slowly wither on the vine before its publication date as there is no substance to it.

When it comes to antisemitism there is a very large elephant in the room. Mentioning it got the journalist Rod Liddle suspended from the Labour party.

Ah well, he didn't just accuse them of being Anti Semitic, though did he?

the perpetually adolescent white middle-class lefties

And

For many Muslims the antisemitism is visceral, an ingrained part of their unpleasant ideology

Enough to get anyone booted at any time. It doesn't matter how much, or how little, truth there is in the statements. It is, quite simply, unacceptable to the politically correct environment we now live in.

It shows a marked lack of self preservation, going after Intolerant Islam, at the same time as attacking the idiots who support It, from the Indigenous middle classes.
