Lots to do today. Town this morning and meeting a friend for coffee. Cake will feature too.

Work 4 - 9 then meeting Don and Jacob who is coming over to stay for a couple of days. We'll have a beer or two and going for a Thai meal.

Beautiful here, clear blue sky and sunshine.
Going to be nice and warm rather than hot, which is fine.
Bedding's in washing we changed the bed yesterday but it rained a bit on and off.

Bb's not working till later and Thursday is my good day, so we're intending going out and about.

Morning all

Started off sunny, but dull again now. It stayed miserable all day yesterday and was actually quite cold. Hoping it brightens today and the wind drops.

Was so excited about going to the pub, sadly the reality didn't quite live up to expectations. Wednesday lunchtimes are always busy over there because of the cheap roast so we didn't get the best seating and I was really uncomfortable, left me very sore for the rest of the day. Probably tried it a bit too soon, we'll leave it another week or so and go on a quieter day when we can get a better choice of where to sit. Nothing too strenuous planned for today, a couple of walks round the cul de sac and that's about it.

Good morning all, it's sunny but quite cold here this morning. I needed gloves when I walked Billy.

He's had his walk anyway, John's gone to work and Joe's in college this afternoon although he's up already. Food shopping tonight so I need to work on a menu for the next week.

Ally, cake sounds good. I ran into Tesco last night before we walked Billy and bought a couple of apple turnovers and we had a mini picnic on a bench half way around

We're off to Ourique later - need to get a few things and then pay a couple of bills and onto Pingo.

Steve coming round later with scaffolding and also to do some wiring He'll also take down one of our defunct satellite dishes, which we'll then use for the new bedroom, but placed somewhere hidden ish.

Thursday is one of the days I go to see Doreen, so I'll walk into town and pick us up something for lunch I ache a bit this morning, but then I did 15k steps yesterday, and zumba, so that will wear off Pilates tonight

sunny but breezy here in London and that wind is adding a rather unwelcome chill to everything

Hope you've all enjoyed your bits and bobs that were planned for the morning. Ally enjoy the time with Jacob

Lissie do take it easy today. Just wondering if there is a specific pillow type of pillow you could buy to take with you that would soften the seat pad for you so you'd not end up in the same situation again. And if not - then ask for a different more suitable / comfortable chair; most restaurants should understand and be more than willing to help x

We've had such a lovely time!
Drove through the prettiest part of the forest, through Beaulieu and on, saw ponies, baby ponies, cows and donkeys
On to Lepe country park, right on the Solent, and tried their new cafe. Fabulous views and good value, had capuccino cake to go with my cappuccino
A bit windy but very warm sunshine.

More pretty drive, saw a donkey with a tiny fluffy baby
Nearly back and to the garden centre with the prettiest cafe for paninis.
