I'll have a swim then plan to laze around the pool. I've got a cracking Mark Billingham book so me and it will be on a sun lounger all day!

Conor's coming over this evening to join us and Jacob and we're going out for a meal.

Dull and overcast at the moment, think the sun's supposed to come out later.

I'll be glued to the box from 9, such a sucker for royal occasions, nobody does pomp and ceremony like we do, it always make me emotional.

Dull and hazy here too - we had thick fog earlier Will be another hot day when it all disappears

Just done the watering. We keep being told we'll be having a thunderstorm, but none appeared, although we heard the thunder.

I'll be bean podding and freezing again. That bean and chorizo I did yesterday was lovely, so I'll make another one and freeze it.

Will be popping down to the bar later, to drop some off for Mitch.

And we turned on Portuguese tv, thinking they won't have the wedding on - but they do

Good morning all, sunny and quite warm here at the moment.

I'm just back with Billy, I'll have a shower and then go to collect a parcel from the sorting office. Our doorbell isn't working so as I was expecting a parcel I put a big note on the door saying 'please knock - doorbell broken'. Went upstairs a bit later to clean Joe's bathroom and came down to find the red card of doom on the hall floor. There's no way that the postman knocked as Billy was lying on the landing outside the bathroom the whole time and he always races to the door if someone's there but he didn't move.

There are a couple of bags to drop into the charity shop and I need to pop to Tesco too. Hopefully the shops (and sorting office) will be quieter than normal this morning. I was going to go to see my parents this afternoon but think I'll give it a miss, I don't want to pass on my cold germs. Could've done with going though as it's two weeks since we were last there.

I've left poor John downstairs trying in vain to find some actual news to watch while having his breakfast I'll leave any TV watching until just before kick off this afternoon

such a beautiful day, makes the world such a lovely brighter place.

I'm off to London in a bit to meet up with friends for lunch. It's near Victoria and I'm hoping it won't be overly busy what with everyone either in Windsor or at home in front of a telly
