Good morning Saturday

Hi all - we've had a run out to Richmond in North Yorkshire, one of my favourite places. It started out a bit overcast and dull but fairly mild at first - we parked up and went for a walk round the River Swale to Easby Abbey ruins, and then on to the little waterfalls, they always calm me When we stopped off for coffee, and I posted pics on to FB, my pal Alison who lives there, ended up coming round and joining us! So nice to see her, last time we met was almost exactly a year ago when she left our area to live back in N Yorks, so I hadn't seen her lovely flat (which she took us to, literally a five minute walk from the town centre), and then we left to come home.

We were going to be having Lewis sleep tonight, but one little cat has changed all the plans LOL, so Tom has taken both kids to the caravan overnight (with my blessing I might add) and will return tomorrow - with them if D and J don't come till Monday, or leave them with D and J if they go tomorrow. Bit of peace for me tonight and fun for them - win win!

I've just been out and planted two new shrubs, and screwed 6 more solar lights to the fence. I've also thrown out a Pieris which was in a tub but wasn't doing much, but I've taken a couple of cuttings to see if they'll grow.

It's my sister's birthday today - I bought her a charm for her Nomination bracelet, a gold heart with the word Sister inside, she liked it anyway She's going out with her son and his family for a meal tonight.

Needless to say, I'm so thrilled at the Referendum result, the yoke of oppression imposed mainly on women by the Catholic church has fallen away at last.
