Morning Ally and everyone

Dull and grey again

Off on another jolly today :Hi: :Hi: Boavista do Palheiros for the door handles and another furniture shop and Transvaal (yes, really  ) for Aldi and Lidl.

We'd like a bookcase and mirror for the new bedroom, and will also have a look at bedside cabinets. We already have two, that Grumpy made, but not sure if they'll go with the new bed   Wardrobes too. Although the one we went to yesterday is getting some smaller one's in on Friday. We'll see.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Dull, rain forecast on and off, should clear up later.

Choosing bits for new bedroom is exciting Ton :)

Treatment day today, quite early so shower in a minute.

Tonight we're going out :)
It's a big birthday for my friend L, and a group of us are going to the Haven for dinner. It's upstairs and overlooks the marina, so I hope the weather clears.

Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :D

We had a lot of rumblings and heavy rain yesterday evening, but no proper storm. Looks dull and overcast right now.

Good luck with the treatment Di, enjoy your evening out.

Choosing new bedroom furniture sounds fun Ton, hope to see some photo's when it's all finished.

E's planning to pop into town this morning, we're out of fresh fruit and veg. Managed a couple of walks yesterday, hoping to do the same again today.

Have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Enjoy your busy day Ally xx

That sounds like a lovely evening Di :D

Enjoy your shopping trip Jan :D

Sounds like good progress with the walking Jen :)

Well the rain has set in here, good and proper, and the forecast is more of the same, with flood warnings for some  Not for us thankfully, as we are higher up here than the city, so even escaped the 2007 flooding. I'll be donning my waterproof jacket, boots and snorkel to walk up to D's later :P  Zumba tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

Good luck with the treatment Di and enjoy the dinner; and definitely fingers crossed that the weather clears. We had rainfall of biblical proportions here in London yesterday - haven't seen anything like it in ages.

Jan, have fun with the choosing. And have to ask - Transvaal is that a place or a shop? It's the old (apartheid era) name of a state in South Africa now called Gauteng; so quite unusual to be seeing it elsewhere :D

Jen, where I live there was no rain during the day, but when I got home it started and was on and off more or less all night, but a good rain that would soak nicely into the ground. Well done on the walks; keep it going! :D

Kaz, hope the rain isn't as bad as expected and there is no flooding :( try stay as dry as possible when you walk to D's

Usual / usual for me so nothing exciting to report

have a lovely day all x

Ria, I saw that yesterday on the news. A reporter was outside and it was raining and really dark. Di, enjoy your dinner and wd on the walking. Jan I hope your shopping is successful! It looks like we're in for a downpour here too Kax, but we're not due to get as much rain as you. Hot hot hot? Not not not here Ally. Very grey indeed.

I have been volounteered for dog sitting so will be off there shortly. MrsC and her sis are off looking after their dad.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it's just started to rain here and it's a bit cooler this morning so it's much more pleasant.

I've walked Billy and done some shopping in town, I was back home just after 9  There's more ironing to do and Tom's due back from Ashbourne at some point today. Not sure if he's going back to Wolverhampton tonight or staying here until the weekend for work.

Kaz, hope it doesn't get too bad. It's such a worry for those at risk of flooding.

Di, enjoy dinner!

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, another lovely day here. I've been to the post office to pay money off the credit card, and take out some money. Gym shortly then we both have dental appointments this afternoon, after which we will do the supermarket shop. Not feeling great, a bit headachy, but hopefully the exercise will help that.
