Have a fab weekend away Ally. Well I'm about to head off to continue at the allotment. Bought loads of compost and top soil yesterday for the raised beds so about to drop that off there and then go and get some more as well as some edging board. All going to plan then I'll be able to get the first veg plant out of the greenhouse and into the beds either tonight or tomorrow.

The weather has perked up here, which is good news! We'll be out in a while for our usual brunch at Corretto's - there is a reenactment going on in the docks today, with a Viking longboat, so I expect it will be busy, but interesting It's all to do with Aethelflaed, Queen of Mercia, Alfred the Great's daughter, who was buried in Gloucester https://www.aethelflaed2018.co.uk Then up to D's - she's hired a skip to clear her garage, only a small one, so we'll be doing that for her.

Morning all, another lovely day here. We are going into town on the bus, Mr Osc wants new black jeans, and I want to pop into Debenhams to look at tops to match a couple of skirts I bought in TK Maxx recently. We'll pick up an M&S meal deal so we won't need to cook later. Miss Osc and family are off to Italy for a week today, hope their flight isn't badly affected by the French air traffic controllers' strike.

I am fit for nothing, was in bed for 11 hours
Was determined to get a small washing load done, it's nearly finished.

Looks quite nice outside, think it's supposed to get brighter and warmer as the day goes on.

We walked over to the pub yesterday lunch time which was nice. Washing and house stuff today with a couple of walks thrown in.
