So far so lovely :)
Had a bacon roll and coffee on the ferry.
Relaxed drive across the island with one stop at a sort of arts and crafts centre.
Found our hotel, our hostess made us a coffee then showed us to our room. Exactly as per expectations, gorgeous big balcony and sea right below us :D
Unpacked then drove into Shanklin for a wander and to spot possibilities for dinner. Two or three look good and have good reviews, think we might try the Thai.

Stopped in one of the many tearooms for tea coffee and huge slices of the best Victoria sponge I've had in years :)
Back to our room for a rest before going out.

Have WiFi but not very strong, phone won't post photos so they will have to wait.
