Afternoon all, it's lovely here, some cloud but lots of sun and very warm. I've been to the gym, then a cuppa and a good old natter with some of the others in the cafe afterwards. I've haf my lunch and just about to start getting stuff ready for our overnight trip to Tipperary tomorrow (yes, it is a long way ;) ) when I will be a judge at a charity Strictly, it should be fun.

Kaz I hope you have had some good news by now x

Well it's been a nail biting Friday for me. Did I mention we'd had Charlie to the vets last week as I thought he was blocked again, turns out he wasn't but he did have cystitis, so he finished the course of anti inflams on Wednesday, of course last night I saw blood in his pee again. Of COURSE we go away tomorrow.....I rang the vet hospital first (who we'd seen last weekend, at massive expense!) and they advised contacting my own vet today. So I explained the situation and they said they'd contact the hospital to speak to the vet who saw Charlie to see if they could prescribe more anti-inflams or would he need to be seen by them? She said she'd ring me back - so I waited almost an hour but then decided to head into town for my usual Friday trip, I could call in at our vets on the way home to collect the meds if they decided they didn't need to see Charlie. I ended up phoning back and they said they were still waiting for the hospital's go ahead! So still no further forward and I am now home again! I'm trying hard to not have to take him over as he gets stressed in the carrier.....

Anyway I did get my trip out, and had coffee etc.

Been sunny with a gentle breeze this morning, clouding over a bit now. I didn't sleep much last night, too hot and worrying on about Charlie. I'm not doing this again if anything should ever happen to him :?

Have a good day everyone xx

Yes, just heard, the pain and swelling are not a return of the DVT, thank goodness! He has to see his GP because the reasons for the pain/swelling need to be found, but no signs of DVT at all on the scan Phew! Thanks for the support everyone :)

Oh poor Charlie! :( Hope he'll be ok Gal (((x)))
