Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 13 Jul 2018, 04:17

Good morning.

I woke just after 5am (my body clock must think its still in Spain ) so I'm going for an early run. Where Jackie lives it means I can go by the perimeter of Birmingham Airport which for a nerdy Norma like me is bliss. :geek:

I can't believe I've been here for a week already! I've had an absolutely fantastic time. :cute:

Getting the 3pm train today to Nottingham where Craig will be waiting to chauffeur me to his house.

I'm staying there till Tuesday and really looking forward to being with him and Leilani... we have lots planned. :D

Have a great day everyone. X

Good morning Ally and all!

It's dull here at the moment and a bit fresher but we're still forecast temps in the mid-20s later. The sky was so grey last night, it looked like it'd pour down but nothing came of it.

I'm just about to walk Billy and then there's housework to do. Joe has a 9.30 driving lesson and Tom starts work at 2.15pm

Ally, have a good journey to Nottingham and a great time there!

Have a lovely day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Bit overcast again this morning, but I can see some blue. Not much, but some ;)

Will be getting rid of spikey things on the "lawn" today. ;) ;)

Safe journey Ally x

And waiting for Heldar again. We left at 6.30 last night and he can visit quite late, after work, but no phone call.

Grumpy finishing off the last bit of the internal drains. He'll then need to get the kango out and dig up the outside. Lots of lovely noise

Will be making more flans today, as Ana Cristina came up with a dozen eggs yesterday and Mitch gave me 6 rom his chickens

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Meeting friends for coffee this morning.
We were going to the garden centre with the tree fountain, but apparently it has closed
Need to find out what's going on!

Have a fab time Ally, and have a good day all

Morning all :)

Have a great time in Nottingham Ally - did you get to the dinosaur thing yesterday? :)

Jo, we had that same sky last night, but no rain! Hoping for some today :?

Jan, I hope he turns up today!

What a shame about that lovely garden centre Di! :( Have a nice time :)

It's overcast here, and cooler, so maybe we will get some rain later. Shopping this morning with D, and then ironing and other housework stuff later.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Kaz, we've just had some rain while I was walking back through the woods!! It was very light though and only lasted about 10 minutes.

Morning all

ahem; aren't you forgetting some little furry something? :D :D :D Come on be honest; who are you looking forward to seeing most?

Di, that's not good if the garden centre has closed; hopefully it's only for refurbishment or something?
Morning Saundra :D
Jo and Kaz, we had that same sky yesterday and same as you nothing came of it. There is apparently rain forecast for this afternoon so I've done everything I can to make sure it does; left the cushions on the seats outside and watered the plants this morning. It's a lot cooler again today though, but this weekend is meant to be another warm one
Jan, hope Heldar turns up - what is he meant to be doing? Hopefully Grumpy can crack on though and isn't being held up too much?

Well, Friday means office lunch - Thai today; yum! Then out to friends for dinner after work; provided the trains behave that is. Tomorrow we have Amelias's school leavers picnic and Sunday I'm hoping to get more done in the garden at home and on the allotment.

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Hahahaha Ria! Of course! My darling Ronnie Dog will be hugged to bits!

Yes Kaz... I got to see the dinosaur. The curator was a bit snippy as I hadn't made an appointment but I pulled the 'I came all the way from Spain' card and it worked.

I walked 28kms yesterday as I also went to the Peter Pan statue and the sun and the moon park. :D :D

I had a fabulous day. :D

Enjoy your lunch Ria and have a rgeat time in Nottingham Ally. Kaz, it's been overcast here for most of the last two days here but not a sniff of rain.

Running around today. To the music centre to drop off son's sick note (he has a bulging disc in his back), various other little call ins and then dinner out tonight with MrsC.

Have a good day all.
