Nipping into town this morning for a last minute mooch... there are great shops here and the centre is really nice to walk round.

Getting the 3pm train back to Birmingham.

Out with Jackie tonight for a couple of beers then fish and chips.

There's a slight improvement in Martin Saundra... he's on oxygen but still very drowsy.

Jackie will be visiting him as usual this morning and late afternoon. He's in the best place at the moment.

Watering done. Steve should be up this morning, to do the necessary to the basin taps. He had to go to the Algarve yesterday - apparently their cat is having acupuncture

General pootling today, although I do have ironing. The cleaning is going to wait - Grumpy is filling in the window in the small bedroom and then doing the render himself. It's only a small area, so should be okay

I'm off to town to post a portrait that Mick's done for someone, and for 5 minutes in a tanning booth, to try to improve the psoriasis on my poor legs I've been going for a couple of weeks now, not a lot of improvement yet but persevering with it! Then lunch with D.

Daughter, baby and dog may be turning up shortly. I have finished my course of anti-biotics so hopefully the slightly "off" feeling I've had over the last week will go now.
Coffee and mooching will feature today; I'll try and persuade MrsC to have a trip out somewhere.

Kaz, I didn't know Mick paints? I hope the tanning brings some improvement for your legs.

Crommers, dare I admit that I took my old girl Molly for acupuncture for quite some time; it's hugely successful for pets and eases the need for some really strong meds. But saying that I didn't have to drive as far as Steve did
Saundra, Jan, Kaz and Di - enjoy your days pootling, arting, shopping - hope you get everything done you need.
Kaz, was going to ask if you'd ever thought of buying a UV lamp for home but just had a look online and seen just how expensive they are - wowzer!

Good morning all, it's still warm here but is now grey after a sunny start.

Billy walked me for nearly 2 hours, he decided the directions we were going and I just followed. I've got to go over to the post office once I've dried my hair. It's Eve's graduation on Friday so I want to get a card in the post for her.

I've got an Amazon delivery coming between 12 and 2, I took advantage of Prime Day and ordered another Echo. We have one in the living room but I wanted one in the kitchen too.

I hope the tanning helps in time Kaz x
