Grumpy will be putting on the final top coat inside the new bedroom, before he can start tiling I'll do the watering, think about the ironing and then find not a lot to do

Had a chat with Johnny the donkey whilst doing the watering

Popping down the bar in about an hour, for a coffee and post check. Will take the rubbish down to the bins too, don't like having it here for too long in this heat.

Molly has been in, had breakfast, followed me round as I watered and is now happily sat in the long grass, watching the donkey

Good morning everybody,
Sun is out but there are some clouds. It is warm. Up early as I went to pick up a saw which I had ordered on Wednesday. The store opens at 7.00 a.m and I was one of the first customers in.
Going to the bank and some shopping this morning.
Painting more panels in the fence this afternoon. Have done about half so far. Nearly as good as Piccasso!!
Usibg lots of suncream on my arms and face but still getting a tan

Morning all

Hot, hot, hot

M made good time, they arrived at 6pm. We stayed up late chatting, think I got to bed around 1sh.

Didn't have the best night, but that's probably down to too many glasses of wine Up early as I have a hairdresser appointment at 9.30 this morning. Would have changed it, but she's taking nearly 8 weeks off from tomorrow, and with the 6 weeks since my last appointment, there's no way I can wait that long. M's happy to sit in the garden until I get back, when she wakes up that is, and then we'll be off down to the beach. David will love it and there's the added bonus of a funfare down there at the moment. I've booked our local pub the Racing Greyhound for dinner this evening.

Morning all. Not as warm as Iberia here but hot enough. It was so warm last night! Not the best night's sleep ever.

Not much on here. We need a few bits and MrsC is going baby wrangling this afternoon. I need to finish a job in the garden but maybe today is not the day.

Friday = lunch day and today it's Carluccio's; yum. Starting my annual week of cat sitting for my neighbour this evening; it's a bit of a bind and next year I've said she needs to find someone to do the mornings because I struggle with fitting that in twice a day as well as my working day; but hey ho... She's off to Sidmouth for some annual folk festival thing where they have a lot of fisherman's choirs in pubs (at least that's the impression I get).

Promising to be a hot day here; I've ordered a fan from Amazon - one of the paper ones you wave about. It's due to arrive today apparently so will come in handy for the train journey home.
