We had two things happen on Saturday which made us look a bit like this
#1
Going back to last Monday, John's sister called to ask if he could take something of their Dad's to the wedding as his nephew wanted to include his late Grandad in his wedding. John said he didn't have anything. I didn't think he had anything either. His sister thought he had their Dad's watches, cufflinks and a gold ring. He started doubting himself and had a quick look in his wardrobe and in his bedside drawers which is where he keeps his Grandad's WW1 medals. Nothing. I could remember him saying that he was going to be given them but I always assumed that was something for the future. We thought nothing of it, they'd still be at mother in law's house.
Saturday morning we decided that the garage needed a tidy up. It's usually really well organised in there, shelving lines the walls so the floor is kept clear, everything is boxed and sealed and we use it instead of the loft but since Tom came back stuff had just been dumped anywhere. John lifted one sealed box down to put a larger box of Tom's kitchen equipment on a shelf and he kept having to step over this box. Before he put it back curiosity got the better of him and he thought he'd see what was in it. He doesn't normally bother, he leaves the boxes to us.
First thing he saw was a pewter tankard and inside were his Dad's things. Even the tankard was his Dad's. It was a gift from his workmates at Anglia Water in the 70s when he left to move up here. Two watches, three pairs of cufflinks and a gold ring.

I dreamt on Fri night/Saturday morning. I don't usually remember my dreams but I dreamt that we went to see The Killers and also that I was bitten by an insect on my wrist, it was on the top middle just in front of my Fitbit screen, I even saw what bit me in the dream. I told John because I was so amazed that I'd remembered. Later in the day we called around for a cuppa with my parents and one of the first things my Mom said was that she'd been bitten in the night and yep, it was in exactly the same place as I'd been bitten in my dream
