After a mad couple of days today will be spent mostly in and around the pool with a book. :lol:

Sat typing this in the semi-dark

Will be hotting up again later, to a very manageable hot 8-)

The new floor looks fantastic, really pleased with it :Hi:

He's going to start on the shower this morning, after cleaning the pool. It's been such a windy summer and we're getting so much rubbish in it :cry:

The furniture people rang at 9.45 last night

and will maybe deliver today - the lady gets too excited and babbles on far too quickly for me to understand a lot of what she is saying :oops:

So we'll see,

Good morning! It's pouring down here and has been pretty much since yesterday evening.

Suffice to say, Billy hasn't had his walk yet and John isn't going out for his usual Sunday morning bike ride. Not sure what we're doing today, might pop into Birmingham this afternoon. There's plenty of football on TV if the rain doesn't slow down though.

Dull and a bit drizzly.
We're planning on going into town for a bit of shopping, maybe a sausage buttie.
Nothing else, except I have the idea I might roast a chicken. Not unusual, except I haven't done it for over two years!

Although I think I'll swap the planned salad and garlic bread for roast veggies

We have had rain overnight but it is quite warm now. We've also had another pigeon fly into one of our windows. :twisted:

They must be a bit crackers. They also leave a big greasy mark on the window. Oh - just seen a grey squirrel hopping over the road!

A quiet Sunday ahead. Roast chicken and watching the MotoGP bike race and maybe some football.
