Washing pillows

It is slightly better now it is completely dry but I won't be doing it with any more.

never seen pillows washed and gone back to there proper shape ever
and i worked in a launderette best to buy new
feather pillows are hard to dry and have to be bone dry or go mouldy
quilts are better washed at a launderette

I have anti-allergic pillow covers that enclose the pillow (perfect for asthmatics) and completely washable, then the pillowcase goes over that. I just was those monthly. I've never ever tred washing a pillow. I have a latex pillow, my last one I had for 15 years, no stains or ordours on it, so I presume the covers do what they claim.
