Morning all, sun and cloud here and it is warm. I also dislike seeing the days getting shorter - I love fine summer weather when it barely gets really dark. We were on our cruise in Norway for the longest day in June and it was fascinating to be out on deck at midnight to see it was still daylight. Humdrum day ahead, I need to go to Boots as the Clinique girl has something for me, and then we will do the supermarket shop on the way home. I don't think I will hang out washing, it could get drizzly, so I'll put it on the drying rail.

Isn't it amazing, Osc? 8-) I have a Facebook friend who lives in Northern Finland, and she put a photo of her dog playing in her garden at midnight and it looked like broad daylight  :D

Afternoon all :D

Bit overcast and draughty here.

No problems with the car service and MOT, so that's me legal for another year. Very much poorer though, having new tyres pushed the total bill to £402

It's Zachery's 14th birthday today, where did all the years go. He called this morning, sounds so grown up on the phone these days. The boys are coming to stay with us Monday through to Wednesday next week, really looking forward to it, they haven't stayed here for absolutely ages.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and warm here.

Me, John and Tom (and Bill of course) sat outside for an hour or two last night, until almost 1am, watching for the Perseids meteor shower but only saw a couple in that time. It was such a clear starry night though. Expected to see more this year as conditions were supposed to be more favourable that usual and we don't have much light pollution here (apart from when Joe switched on all of the kitchen lights and wanted to know what we were all doing outside at that time).

Hope you get the car sorted ready for your appointment Crommers!

Have a good day all!

Maybe if we had lovely sunny days it would be lighter longer but right now it's just miserable. Bring back the summer !

Absolutely!!!
